Developing an Entrepreneurial Mindset
The entrepreneurial mindset isn't a skill you're born with; it's a muscle you develop through consistent effort and a willingness to embrace discomfort. It's about seeing opportunities where others see obstacles, and believing in your ability to create value where others see limitations. This mindset was my lifeline during my time in the homeless shelter, fueling my determination to rise above my circumstances.
Cultivating this mindset requires a shift in perspective. It means re-framing failure as a learning opportunity, embracing calculated risks, and constantly seeking knowledge and growth. For me, this meant immersing myself in the world of wholesale electronics and later, the trucking and freight logistics industry, absorbing every detail and identifying gaps I could fill.
