I started cooking like many do—at McDonald’s. At 14, it was my first job, and I quickly fell in love with the kitchen chaos, the teamwork, and the thrill of service. Seven years later, I moved on to pub kitchens and conference centres, cooking for crowds of 150+. I never aimed to be a chef—performing was always my first love—but food was my creative outlet. Eventually, I left the industry (those hours are no joke) and found joy in cooking at home for my family. Now, it’s all about fun, no-fuss meals that change every night—my family never gets the same dish twice. I wrote this cookbook because I was sick of endless scrolling for recipes. I wanted all my comfort food favourites—especially desserts!—in one easy place. This book is for busy people who want real food, fast, while juggling kids, emails, and a messy house. Because dinner should be the easy part of the day.
