Synopsis
Waking up on a park bench in the quaint, suspiciously friendly village of Lower Puddlecombe with absolutely no memory of who you are is bad enough. Discovering that everyone in the village seems to know you – or claims to – and that their stories don't quite add up is worse. Our hero, a man with a blank slate for a past, must navigate a community overflowing with eccentric characters, whispered rumours, and buried secrets, all while trying to figure out if he's a beloved local, a wanted criminal, or just a cosmic joke.
As he digs deeper into the layers of polite smiles and passive aggression, he uncovers a mystery far more complex and darkly humorous than he anticipated. With every step forward, he risks exposing not just his own forgotten history, but the carefully constructed lies the villagers have lived by for years. Can a man without a past survive a town determined to keep its secrets buried, or will the truth, whatever it is, be more than anyone bargained for?
