Carl Rite was born into a blue collar family in the small perish of Ashbury in Swindon, UK. He attended Ashbury Primary School until the age of 9 when he and his family moved East to the historic city of Bristol. Here his father, Geoffrey worked in a plant at Airbus UK, manufacturing aircraft components for commercial and military use. His mother Leila ran a successful nursery school attached to the local primary school, which Carl attended before advancing to and graduating from Fairfield High School. After graduation Carl began working manual labor and industrial jobs before settling on a career as an electrician. Working for Dorothea Restorations as an electrical contractor, Carl spent many years restoring and renovating historical buildings in and around Bristol for modern day uses such as office spaces and small retail shops. Over the years his interest in writing, and storytelling grew, his casual short stories evolving into immersively dark and compelling novels.
