Beloved teacher, coach, mentor and a friend to all. He grew up on a farm and worked very hard from a very young age. His work ethic led him to win a college scholarship before the days of NIL when a college degree meant something and was a steppingstone to a better life. He taught school, coached athletics, and worked extra jobs in the summer to support his family. He was an avid hunter and fisher and passed his love of the outdoors on to his sons. His legacy continues through his children, former students, and countless friends.
