Dr Adnan Riaz is working as an Assistant Professor at Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad for the last 18 years where he teaches at MBA, MS and PhD level in the Department of Business Administration, and supervises students undertaking topics related to Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, and Organizational Behaviour. Adnan is an experienced researcher and trainer with practical experience of coordinating various academic activities. His research interests comprise various leadership styles and behaviours, emotional and psychological well-being, and different aversive situations such as politics and workplace conflict. Over the last few years, his research work is specifically related to affective components including emotional competence, emotional intelligence, neuroticism and aesthetic emotions. Research studies under process are based on affective event theory (AET) to explore the role of emotions in daily work life.
