Synopsis

A research team ventures into the remote Blackwood Forest to study an unusual electromagnetic anomaly. As days turn into weeks, their initial scientific curiosity morphs into paralyzing dread. The forest seems to respond to their presence, distorting familiar landmarks and whispering through unseen channels. Time becomes fluid, and the line between reality and hallucination blurs. Isolated and increasingly paranoid, the team must confront not only the unknown force that holds them captive, but also the unraveling of their own minds. The Static Veil explores themes of existential dread, the fragility of perception, and the terrifying power of a reality that is slowly, deliberately, coming undone.
