Synopsis

Lily loved her sparkly shoes, her shiniest dress, and her rainbow backpack. She thought these things made her special, but when a big school play arrived, Lily felt a wobble in her tummy. What if her sparkly things weren't enough? What if everyone noticed she wasn't as brave as she looked? But Lily remembered her grandma's gentle words: 'Your real sparkle, Lily-bug, comes from inside you, from the kindness in your heart and the strength God gives you.' On the day of the play, Lily decides to try something new. She leaves her shiniest things at home and walks onto the stage with just a smile. She discovers that with a little bit of faith and a whole lot of courage, the most amazing sparkle shines from within, brighter than any glitter or gem. This is a story about finding your true strength and realizing that what truly matters isn't what you wear, but who you are on the inside.
