Synopsis

In the isolated town of Black Hollow, people are disappearing but no one remembers them. When Lucien Veyr, a six-hundred-year-old vampire burdened by centuries of guilt and memory, arrives to restore an abandoned mansion, he senses that something ancient is awakening beneath the town. Soon, children see dead relatives at their windows, police records erase themselves, and families forget the names of those they once loved. Lucien discovers that the true horror does not feed on blood. It feeds on memory. As the town slowly loses its past, Lucien begins losing his own: the face of his mother, the voice of his first love, even the reason he chose to remain human in spirit. To save Black Hollow, Lucien must confront an evil older than himself and answer one final question: If every memory of who you were disappears, are you still the same person?
