Synopsis

Detective Alex is used to solving mysteries with logic and shoe leather, not with a feline sidekick who claims to be an ancient Egyptian goddess. But when a strange series of crimes baffles the police, Alex finds himself teamed up with Bastet, a cat with nine very opinionated lives and a divine secret. Together, they uncover a pattern pointing to a serial killer with roots stretching back centuries, a killer directly tied to the downfall of Bastet's own ancient church. This immortal foe isn't just committing gruesome acts; they are a living relic of a forgotten past, seeking vengeance or perhaps something even more sinister.
