Synopsis

In an alternate reality where chi energy has become the basis of civilization, hidden shadows threaten to take over everything. Black Murdoch, a former archivist turned ruler, has subjugated cities to his will, surrounding them with energy domes. People have become a source of resources, their will is suppressed, and the future is a dark shadow of the past. Master Boris, a household Taoist and kung fu master, unexpectedly finds himself in this world after a strange seminar and an even stranger dream. Together with his student Lin and taxi driver Georges, he learns about the hidden horrors of the Murdoch regime and the great prophecy of the Tablets of Pleasure that can destroy tyranny. The fight against internal fears, the spirit of confrontation and caustic irony become companions on Boris's path to realization: he is not just a random guest, but the chosen one, capable of overthrowing the evil empire.
