Synopsis

In the perpetually fog-shrouded city of Duskgrave, survival is a nightly battle. Residents cling to flickering lanterns, not just for light, but as meager defenses against the unseen horrors that the ever-present fog seems to conceal and perhaps even cultivate. Whispers persist that the fog itself is sentient, a malevolent entity that listens and watches. At the city's core, a pervasive curse known as the Veil spreads its corruption, twisting both flesh and the very fabric of dreams, plunging Duskgrave into an escalating nightmare. This chronicle follows Elara, a dedicated lantern-keeper whose life is already shadowed by unsettling visions. When she inadvertently uncovers a truth far more terrifying than the rumors, she finds herself drawn into a deepening abyss. Alongside a disparate group of survivors—cunning rogues, fervent zealots, and children marked by the city's pervasive dread—Elara must confront the encroaching darkness. Her journey will force her to question whether true survival lies in mere endurance of the horrors or in a desperate act of defiance against the encroaching gloom.
