Synopsis

Young Crimson Hood sets out on a perilous journey through the foreboding Blackwood forest to deliver a basket to her ailing grandmother. But this is no ordinary woods, and her grandmother is no ordinary elder. The Blackwood is haunted by a dark spirit, a spectral wolf that preys on lost souls, and it senses the burgeoning power within Crimson Hood. The wolf spirit relentlessly hunts her, attempting to trap her in the endless, twisted paths of the forest. Just when all hope seems lost, Crimson Hood discovers a dormant magic within herself, a raw power that allows her to momentarily fend off the spectral predator and escape its clutches, finally reaching her grandmother's secluded cottage. But the cottage offers no safety. Crimson Hood's grandmother is revealed to be a witch of immense power, wielding ancient, destructive magic. From a stone drawn from Crimson Hood's own basket, the grandmother unleashes a devastating force, intending to consume the entire Blackwood in dark energy. Faced with this horrifying truth and the imminent destruction of the only world she knows, Crimson Hood makes a desperate choice. She throws open the magically sealed doors of the witch's hut, breaking its protective spell, and turns to the very spirit that pursued her.
