Synopsis
In the glittering, cutthroat art world of a sprawling metropolis, struggling artist Maya craves recognition above all else. Years of rejection have left her desperate for a breakthrough, willing to chase any spark of hope—no matter how improbable. That spark comes in the form of a seemingly innocent jingle whispered in her ear: “Hey, Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream.”
Unwittingly, Maya has summoned the Sandman—a beguiling, shadowy figure who offers her everything she’s ever wanted: unparalleled success, creative acclaim, and the adoration of the art world. The price seems almost invisible at first, a barely noticeable shift in her perception, a hazy dream that lingers after she wakes. But with each “favor” granted, the cost grows steeper. Her grip on reality begins to loosen. Time skips. Memories distort. People she loves appear… wrong.
Drawn deeper into the Sandman’s dreamscape—a realm of surreal beauty and subtle horror—Maya’s ambitions swell. Fame and fortune flood her life, but so too do the Sandman’s Chosen, strange figures who move between the waking world and dreams, guiding her toward complete surrender. As the dreamscape and reality bleed together, Maya finds herself trapped in a psychological maze where each step forward may be leading her further away from the truth.
With the help of Elijah, a grounded friend who seems immune to the dream’s pull, Maya searches for an exit. Whispers of a mysterious Grey Door promise freedom—but in the dreamscape, nothing is certain. If she opens it, will she awaken? Or simply pass into another layer of illusion?
Sandman: Bring Me a Dream is a psychological supernatural thriller that weaves atmospheric tension, haunting visuals, and moral complexity into a chilling meditation on the cost of ambition. At its heart, it asks: If you could have everything you’ve ever dreamed of, how much of yourself would you give away?
