Before Sex And The City is a HBO prequel to Sex And The City set in the 80s with the right backstory mentioned on the original Sex And The City tv series and the 80s flashback in the second Sex And The City film which includes that Carrie's mum Grace Bradshaw is alive and not deceased and her father is not in the picture as he left when she was 5 years old and she is an only sibling and hasn't got a sister and we see her losing her virginity to Seth Bateman in the 11th grade on a ping pong table in his smelly rec room with half a joint, three thrusts, aka then finished and her high school boyfriend Jeremy who was played by David Duchovny in one episode in season 6 of Sex And The City who ended up in a psychiatric facility and then it cuts to 3:30pm on Tuesday June 11th 1986 where we see a 20 year old Carrie Bradshaw arriving in New York from Connecticut outside the apartment building 1030 Fifth Avenue in New York where Carrie will end up living in the future with Mr Big her future husband and her outfit was fully inspired by Madonna and the next few years meeting her gay best friend Stanford Blatch when Carrie used to ride the subway and wear Candie's shoes and he later becomes a talent agent and they used to frequent nightclubs in New York together and meeting her other best friends in 1987 at 2am on a subway cart brown hair Charlotte York who becomes a art dealer when a homeless man dropped his pants, Miranda Hobbes in 1989 who wants to be a lawyer and Carrie meets her when she was working at the dress department and Miranda was crying in the changing room and Samantha Jones the oldest of the group in 1986 or 1987 when she was bartending at CBGB'S and later on owns her own public relations business and she was totally wild with her wardrobe and we will see how Carrie became a fashionista, started writing her own column for the Daily Star, became the famous Carrie Bradshaw and ended up with her rented brownstone apartment, and will also see how Carrie met some other friends outside of her best friend group, Bobby Fine a gay straight man ,Amalita Amalfi an extravagant friend (more like recurring acquaintance) of Carrie Bradshaw who is a socialite and supposed escort ,Kyra, old friend Jeremiah who is a street performer and they both had a flirtation for years, Kurt Harrington who she slept with a few times ,Kevin who Carrie dated when he was a sex maniac and then Charlotte dated in season 1 episode 11 The Drought on Sex And The City as he couldn't function sexually as he was taking Prozac, Capote Duncan, Miranda's ex boyfriend asshole Eric, and Dominic Samantha's ex who broke her heart.
