Synopsis

On the cusp of turning 20, our protagonist's world takes a turn for the weird – because apparently, being a teenager wasn't complicated enough. Every year, as the clock strikes midnight, they're treated to a private concert of creepy whispers. How thoughtful. This time, however, the annual spook-fest comes with a bonus: a portal in the bedroom mirror. Because who needs sleep when you can have interdimensional travel? Stepping through the looking glass, our hero encounters a realm where shadows have more personality than most people on social media. Enter the shadow-weaver, a mysterious figure claiming to be the guardian of our protagonist's fate. (No pressure, right?) As if dealing with newfound magic powers and a family legacy straight out of a fantasy novel wasn't enough, our hero must now navigate a maze of deceit, unravel the truth about their past, and save two realms from an ancient darkness. All while maintaining a sarcastic attitude and possibly developing feelings for their shadowy guide. It's just another day in the life of a reluctant chosen one, where the fate of multiple worlds hangs in the balance, and the only thing sharper than the encroaching darkness is our hero's wit.
