Biography

Andrew Cherock, a proud Liverpool, NY native, is the founder and driving force behind Syracuse Sports Association, LLC. With a deep passion for sports and community, Andrew turned a simple love for adult rec leagues—especially kickball—into a full-blown mission to bring people together through fun, competition, and camaraderie. Known for his shaved head, short beard, loud voice, and louder laugh, he’s the guy cracking jokes on the sidelines and hyping up every new season like it’s the Super Bowl. Before launching SSA, Andrew spent time in mortgage consulting and studied at Onondaga Community College, but his heart always led him back to the field—literally. Whether he’s wrangling kickballs, hanging with his German Shepherd, or talking Giants football, Andrew lives for connection, laughs, and getting adults off the couch. With SSA, he’s built more than leagues—he’s built a damn community.
