Biography

The story follows a man recounting his traumatic experiences of childhood fears that manifested in his bedroom, particularly focusing on a malevolent presence that haunted him during his nights. After being given a room of his own at the age of eight, the protagonist quickly became aware of something sinister lurking beneath his bottom bunk—something that moved, breathed, and ultimately tormented him night after night. Despite the love and reassurance of his parents, particularly his mother, who would often come to comfort him, the child could not bring himself to speak of the entity, fearing it would return if mentioned. Over time, he learned to cope with the horror, believing that the presence could not harm him as long as his mother was nearby. However, when she was absent, the entity grew more aggressive, culminating in a terrifying encounter where it attempted to suffocate him.
